Council will advertise tenders for various services and construction activities.
We do this by advertising them in the Hobart Mercury.

Code for Tenders and Contracts

We have published a Code for Tenders and Contracts that provides an organisation-wide approach to publishing in tenders and entering into contracts with suppliers.

Tenders are invited from suitably qualified contractors for the construction of Brighton Truck Stop at 2 Strong Street, Brighton. Further information may be obtained by contacting Rebecca Nichols, 1 Tivoli Road, Old Beach, 7017 or email rebecca.nichols@brighton.tas.gov.au. 

Tenders should be clearly marked “Tender – Brighton Truck Stop Civil Works” and may be deposited in the Tender Box at the Brighton Council Offices, 1 Tivoli Road, Old Beach, received by mail or emailed to tenders@brighton.tas.gov.au before the closing date. 

Tenders will be accepted up until Friday 7th February 2025 at 2.00 pm. 

The lowest or any tender may not necessarily be accepted.
