In 2020, Brighton Council decided it was time to refresh the previous 30 year vision (called Brighton 2040) with a new 30 year plan called 2050 Vision.  For Brighton Council having a 30 year vision is an important way to achieve long-term goals for the good of the entire community.

The Council launched a project that involved a broad consultation process, which explored the thoughts, feelings and hopes of local residents, businesses, visitors and many other stakeholders about the future for the Municipality.

This consultation process resulted in the development of a final Council endorsed 2050 Vision.
